Any missing work MUST be turned in by exams on Wednesday. There will be no bellwork this week. Joyeux Noel! fall_exam_schedule_2019-20[777].docx

This week we are doing oral assessments to assess proficiency improvement from the first month of school. We are also having a textbook check to make sure all students still have their book--it is easier to look for it now than in May...
We are reviewing past tense using etre and avoir before a quiz Friday. Please see worksheets below for those who are absent. Bellwork will be added on Friday.
This week, we will learn direct and indirect object pronouns and have an open note quiz Friday, Nov 22, using the study sheet I provided. We utilized multiple activities to reinforce what we are learning in class. If you are working from home, look up videos on Direct Objects and Indirect Objects on you tube. The ones with Alexa are helpful (not the Amazon "Alexa") This week, we will learn indirect object pronouns, direct object pronouns, and double object pronouns. Below are power points and a video on these as well as the handout on them.
Please keep in mind that we only have 9 days until interims (as of the 12th). We are learning direct object pronouns and doing quiz re-takes. Any student with missing work or failing any class needs to attend Friday for remediation.

This week, we will be working on the verbs etre, aller, avoir and faire.
We will also follow guided notes and learn our vocabulaire 2.1 from Chapter 2 in Bien Dit. It is located on page 73 and pages 42-43. We will work on a mini-project in class on Friday and I will assign the Quarter 2 project as well. We will have an introduction to Direct and Indirect object pronouns. chapitre_2.1_guided_notes_fr_2.docx It is the last week of the quarter!!!! We will have our Chapitre 1 Unit test this Tuesday, October 8. The grading period ends on Friday the 11th. Please have all missing work turned in by Monday 10/7. See previous posts for study guides and worksheets you may be missing. Projects were due by 2:15 on 10/4/19. Any late projects not due to an excused absence will have 10 points deducted per day that they are late. If you were absent, projects MUST be turned in Monday at the beginning of class. We will continue our review of -ir, -re, and -er verbs, avoir, etre and stem-changing verbs. You also need to know your Chapitre 1 vocabulaire on page 37. Please study and review for this Assessment every evening for at least 15 minutes. Make flash cards (20+) that you made and used to me before the test for +5 on the assessment.
Projects are due Friday, October 4th. |
