This week, we are working on our oral proficiency assessments, as well as our presentational (writing prompt) and interpretive (reading comprehension) assessments. While I am taking videos to record the oral proficiency assessments, the students are expected to work absolutely quietly on their own presentational and interpretive assessments in the classroom within my view. Points will be deducted from their oral proficiency assessments for each time they are individually asked to stop talking (or making loud noises intentionally). Classes who are, in general, loud will have to take oral proficiency assessments in front of their classmates in the room. Grades will be awarded based on completion, behavior during the process, as well as improvement from August pre-assessments and December check point assessments as well.
